The All Night Graduation Committee, proudly chaired by Don Metcalf, is hosting their 25th Yearly Mulch Sale. This event is the primary fundraiser that supports the ANGP. Without your support, this drug-free night of celebration for our graduates would not be possible.

To purchase using cash or check, please use the Mulch Order Form. Mailing instructions are explained on this form. To purchase using a credit card, refer to the PTSA online account.

To volunteer, use our direct sign up system for adults or for students . Additional volunteer questions may be answered by Vickie Sands.

The Lake Braddock PTSA is pleased to award several $500 scholarships to seniors who exhibit leadership skills and service to their community. All students who meet the following criteria are eligible and encouraged to apply.


1-A member in good standing of LBSS PTSA
2-Minimum of a 3.0 GPA through the first semester of senior year

3-Evidence of leadership while attending high school

4-Demonstrates strong service to LBSS and the greater community

5-Will continue education at an accredited college or training/vocational program

If selected, the scholarship check will be sent directly to the college or training facility.

Submissions are limited to the following three items:

1. Complete application form
2. Essay of 200 to 500 words

3. Resume and brief description of activities demonstrating leadership and service during high school career.

Applications are available in the Career Center or directly from our website. Download this form and mail the completed package to Jennifer Kelling, 9437 Wallingford Dr., Burke, VA 22015. Applications must be postmarked by April 7, 2014. Incomplete applications and/or any information postmarked after April 7, 2014 will result in disqualification of applicant and the application will not be submitted to the Scholarship Committee for consideration.

Parent Pledge 2013-2014

The pledge is co-sponsored by the Lake Braddock Community Coalition and the Lake Braddock PTSA. Together, we are endorsing a voluntary Parent Pledge program for parents and guardians of LBSS students. We encourage you to sign it and show your commitment to alcohol and drug-free events for our youth this school year.

 PTSA stands for Parent-Teacher-Student Association. The LBSS PTSA serves all students at Lake Braddock, both middle and high school. See About Us for more information on the Lake Braddock PTSA. Showing your support for the PTSA by becoming a member is easy. Click on Join PTSA on the sidebar, print and complete the form and mail it in with your dues check.

 Use the county's "Keep in Touch" system to stay informed about major events at Lake Braddock and other schools. Once you have registered, you will receive e-mail announcements of school closings, late openings, or other messages based on your personal profile and the interests you indicate.
