There are opportunities for ALL to volunteer at Lake Braddock. Volunteers are needed throughout the year in the middle school as well as the high school.
PTSA volunteers are appreciated greatly whether they are volunteering during the day at school, or on the evenings or on weekends. To get
an idea of opportunities available during the year, log onto the PTO Manager website below or contact one of the
Volunteer Committee members below to discuss current opportunities
This year volunteer coordination is being carried out among a Committee:
1. PTSA Volunteer Coordinator Vickie Sands is managing the PTO Manager PTSA volunteer database, inputting volunteer data
and making sure volunteers' interests are communicated to corresponding Committee chairs, staff members or event coordinators.
2. Sandy Hunter will help coordinate High School sponsored and related events and communicate with parents wishing to help
with HS events/activities.
3. Pamela Stevens and Darla Weideman will help coordinate Middle School sponsored and related events and communicate with
parent volunteers wishing to help with MS events/activities.
4. Jeanne Weidinger will be coordinating parents volunteering to help with the All Night
Graduation Party.
There are two ways to sign up to volunteer:
We encourage you to fill out the Volunteer Questionnaire
(through the PTO Manager website) with your interests and availability so that you can be contacted as the need arises throughout the year.
When you get to the PTA website, follow these steps to start:
1. If you have volunteered before at Lake Braddock, you may be already in the PTO Manager volunteer website. Check by entering your e-mail address and click on "forgot your password?" and your password will be emailed to you. (Then proceed to step 4 below.)
2. If you are NEW to the school or find that you are NOT in the PTO Manager volunteer website, click on "New PTO Manager User?"
3. Follow the instructions
4. Fill out your volunteer form questionnaire, which includes three parts: (1) your personal contact information; (2) events and tasks you are interested in helping with -- be
specific in indicating the types of things you would like to help with this year; and (3) name(s) and grade level(s) of your student.
Another way to communicate your information and interests is by downloading and printing out a copy of the PTSA Volunteer Sign Up Form. Complete
and either mail or drop off at the main office at school.
If you are LBSS staff and need to request volunteers, email your request to Vickie Sands,
PTSA Volunteer Coordinator
. Include your name/department, email, telephone number, the date and description of the event, and number of volunteers needed.
