PTSA Fundraising:
Support
Your School
General PTSA programs are funded
through membership dues and our major fundraiser during the
year, which is our annual Craft
Fair scheduled for October 25, 2008. This
single-day event has consistently drawn over 1,000 patrons for
the past 20 years. There are over 100 vendors, many of who
return year after year selling their original or handmade
wares and handicrafts. Items from handmade jewelry and hand
painted shirts, to personalized decorative sleds and a vast
variety of holiday merchandise -- this is the fair to
patronize! This year's Fair will be held on Saturday, October 25 from 9AM to 3PM at the school: 9200 Burke Lake Road in
Burke, Virginia. There is a $3 admission fee but all children
and students under the age of 18 will be admitted for free.

Smaller fundraisers which are still very important for
specific progams, include the Box Tops for Education program
which earmarks money raised for teacher mini-grants, and the
Giant and Safeway food store bonus programs which earmark
donations for technology at Lake Braddock. The All-Night
Graudation Party is financed separately through the annual
mulch sale. Links to the Box Tops, Giant and Safeway sign-ups
