The All-Night Graduation Party provides a safe, alcohol-free environment for our celebrating seniors. The All-Night Graduation Party is financed separately by special fund-raising events, historically the annual mulch sale has been the main source of funds, along with generous donations from the community.
If you would like to volunteer to either chair, or be a member of, one of the ANGP subcommittees, please click on Board & Committees and use the handy pull down menu to email the ANGP Chair. You can also volunteer to help during the ANGP or on one of
the committees -- just click on volunteers, fill out the the form and return to the address at the bottom.
100 Days and Counting
The 100 Days and Counting meeting for senior parents will be held on March 10. This meeting, which is being held exactly 100 days from graduation, will cover the Graduation ceremony, Prom, Baccalaureate and All Night Graduation Party.
We hope to have a policeman speak about other events that traditionally occur around graduation, such as parties and beach week.
Baccalaureate - Class of 2008: Chair (Vacant)
As you make plans for graduation, please consider arranging travel for relatives and friends so they may attend the Baccalaureate Ceremony on the Sunday before graduation, June 15, 2008 at Nativity Church. It is a lovely, non-denominational celebration with guest speakers, music and performances by our seniors, and an elegant interlude between prom and graduation.
The Baccalaureate Committee welcomes your participation as a volunteer to plan this event, and via donations for flowers, invitations, publicity, technical support and honoraria. Baccalaureate is a centuries-old academic event connected with commencement, and we want our seniors to share this historic tradition.
This event is funded exclusively by parent donation. Please mail yours to: PTSA Baccalaureate, LBSS PTSA, P.O. Box 11252, Burke, VA 22009-1252.

Coordinate with Wakefield staff, Fire Marshall's office, police dept and EMTs. Arrange for parent tour/training at Wakefield prior to the party.
T-shirts (Karen Mason, Carol Letson) Organize a contest for seniors to design a t-shirt logo for the party. Arrange for the purchase and printing of the t-shirts at the school in coordination with the Reservations committee.
